Gaffney Mullins & Co recently represented a client who sustained personal injuries as a result of a road traffic accident that occurred on the M50. 

The claim was submitted to the Injuries Resolution Board, but they were unable to proceed with an assessment due to the complexity of the injuries and the existence of a relevant pre-existing medical condition. Although liability was ultimately conceded, our client was required to provide full proof in respect of her injuries and loss. A number of medical reports were commissioned and the claim was settled prior to a Trial date being assigned. Our client was delighted with the substantial five figure settlement achieved after detailed negotiations mainly relating to the complicated medical history and any overlap with ongoing symptoms attributable to the accident.
